I have sent in several new designs to South West Trading Company that should appear on their Web Site soon. These include an Inspiration Lace Cardigan and Shell, both knit in the same lace stitch. And just last week I sent in a Tofutsies Baby Jumper knit with Tofutsies with smocking on the front yoke knit with a coordinating Inspiration yarn. This dress also had picot trim on the armholes and neckline and a ruffled trim at the bottom. At present I am dsigning a shawl for One Planet Yarn and Fiber and an Aran Long Skirt for a fiber book. I also hope to knit a shell for Cherry Tree Hill Yarn. My Cable Skirt whould apear on One Planet Yarn and Fiber's web page later this month.

For the month of August, I am participating in a fiber show sponsored by the Blue Ridge Fiber Guild (of which I am a member) at the historic Jones House, In Boone, NC.

HI! I recently mailed in a Cable Pleated Skirt and design to One Planet Yarn and Fiber (look for it soon on their Web Page) and now I am working on a lace cardigan with matching pullover knit in a coordinating color for South West Trading Company out of their new Inspiration yarn (Soy silk and Alpaca). My 24 Karat Gold Bambo shell is now on their Web Page. After they are finished, I plan to knit a baby afghan for our expected great-grandson, AJ, who will be born in early July. That will keep my busy for a while. I also have my Spring (May) issue of my subscritption knitting newsletter, Knitting News to get out and in the mail.

Shirley

Knitting

Hello! I am busy designing 4 different items, one for a yarn company and the others for a magazine. These are all due by March 1. I also have my winter issue of my subscription knitting newsletter to finish up by the end of February. When finished with them, I have another pair of socks to design for a yarn company and magazine. I also expect some Tech Editing jobs shortly so I think I will be more than busy.
